🎓 SERVICES FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Our office provides a comprehensive suite of services tailored to support international students throughout their academic journey at Eden University - from admission and arrival to graduation and beyond.

I. Entry Requirements

To qualify for admission as an international student, you must have:

  • A recognised secondary school qualification equivalent to Zambia's Grade 12 Certificate
  • Transcripts evaluated by relevant academic bodies (if applicable)
  • Proof of English proficiency (for non-English-speaking countries)
  • Additional programme-specific requirements (e.g., science prerequisites for health-related courses)
Note: Prospective students are encouraged to check the detailed entry criteria for their specific diploma or degree program under the Admissions section.

II. Tuition Fees

International students are required to pay tuition fees in US Dollars or the Kwacha equivalent. Tuition varies by programme and level of study.

Fee Details Include:
  • Undergraduate Programmes – Starting from [$ amount or range] per semester
  • Postgraduate Programmes – Starting from [$ amount or range] per semester
  • Additional Costs – Registration, medical checkups, visa/study permit processing, and personal living expenses
Note: A $20 non-refundable application fee applies for all international applicants.

III. Visa Requirements

All international students must have a valid Zambian visa before entering the country.

For SADC Nationals:

Most do not require a visa prior to entry but must still endorsement of a business visa at the port of entry (Border/Airport) for them to obtain a study permit upon arrival and within the 30-day visa allocation.

For Non-SADC Nationals:

Visa application support is available through the International Relations Office. Students are advised to contact us early to avoid delays.

Requirements:
  • Valid passport (minimum 6 months before expiry)
  • Official acceptance letter from Eden University
  • Proof of financial support
  • Recent passport-sized photographs
  • Visa application form (provided upon request)

IV. Study Permit Requirements

Eden University is fully responsible for facilitating all study permit applications for its international students. This process is centralised to ensure 100% compliance with immigration laws and to protect students from fraudulent agents or unnecessary delays.

Key Information:
  • Processing begins immediately upon a student's arrival alongside the registration process. Please refer to the admission letter.
  • All required documents are submitted via the University to the Department of Immigration
  • Medical checkups are conducted on campus to meet immigration requirements
  • The University ensures all students receive valid permits in a timely manner
Required Documents (handled with university assistance):
  • Certified copy of passport bio-data page
  • Eden University acceptance letter
  • Medical report (conducted at the university)
  • Police clearance certificate
  • Passport-sized photos
  • Immigration fee payment receipts
Important: Students are strongly discouraged from using third-party agents.
