SCHOOL OF PHARMACY
The program is designed to integrate a framework of the School of Medicine and Health Science courses with a healthcare curriculum that provides the graduate with the foundational knowledge needed to address today’s challenges in today’s pharmaceutical market to other schools of their choice to pursue a career of their choice.
The ﬁrst year of training introduces students to entry level natural sciences, which enhance student’s problem-solving skills and provide the breadth of knowledge and practical skills to prepare students for further training.
The aim is for graduates to be active and competent participants in promoting strategies and initiatives aimed at improving the management of medicines.

Dr. Lloyd Matowe, PhD, MSc, BPharm (Hons)
Dr Matowe is the CEO of the organization, Pharmaceutical Systems Africa (PSA). www.pharmasystafrica.com. PSA is an organization that works with international organizations, governments, and implementing partners to strengthen pharmacy systems across Africa. PSA has offices in Ghana, Liberia, Malawi, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia & Zimbabwe. PSA prides itself in nurturing young talent, including offering scholarships to many deserving students across Africa.
