EDEN UNIVERSITY SIGNS AN MOU WITH NYENYEZI DRIVING SCHOOL

In the quest for value addition, Eden University took another significant milestone by signing a memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Nyenyezi Driving School. The MOU that will see the University’s students receive driving training was signed between the two parties on Friday, 17th February, 2023.
Speaking at the MOU signing the Eden University Vice Chancellor, Dr. Alvert Ng’andu said he was delighted that Eden University and Nyenyezi Driving School have agreed to sign an MOU which might be the first of its kind.
‘No single University, no matter how large or well-endowed, can address future challenges by itself. In this era of globalization and independence, cooperative partnerships with other institutions of academic excellence around the world is not an option but a necessity.’ said Dr. Ng’andu.
Dr. Ng’andu is optimistic on actualizing the MOU to fruition as it will illustrate the University’s commitment to produce graduates with the requisite skills for the world of commerce and work.
And Nyenyezi Driving School Director, Mr. Morgan Moyo said the benefits of acquiring the driver’s skill especially with the increase of traffic are immense.
‘The key to gaining better driving skills is good tuition. It gives guidance to everything that one needs to know from getting into the car, starting the engine, moving off, road position, stopping and alike. ’said Mr. Moyo.
The MOU will see students receive quality world class driver training in different given situations on different types of roads among other things. This partnership in the long run shall equip the students a vital skill in addition to their different academic qualifications. The aim is to make Eden University students more competitive and stand above the rest in the labour market after undertaking driving lessons.
