Eden University witnessed the birth of the Eden University Medical Students’ Association on Friday, 14th April, 2023. The EuMedSA was launched under the vision “Driven by Passion” a vision that speaks to the core business of Medicine as a profession.
The Eden University Management supported this launch knowing it will not only provide a platform for medical students to coexist in perfecting their skills but it will also provide an opportunity for innovation and creativity within the medical space.
General Surgeon, Dr. Wilson Mbewe who is the Medical superintendent at Kanyama General Hospital graced the event as the Guest of Honour.
Eden University Medical Students are attached for clinicals at Kanyama General Hospital and Dr.Mbewe expressed how important it was that this Association should exist. He referred to the existence of such bodies across other medical Universities which have yielded great results in the medical space and practice.
Eden University Senior Management was represented by the A/Deputy Vice Chancellor, Dr. Flavian Bubangi who also expressed how glad he was that the Association was launched.
Entertainment was provided by Chef 187 and Dr.Bolaji who made the Launch very colourful.
